What you really need (and don’t need)
B. How to cope with the most common malfunction of the implanter (proper
tuning and cleansing)
C. Recommended autoclaves (necessary only when using non-disposable
implanter tubes) sterile probes, hectograph pens, which table is best,
which tray is most utilitarian, etc.
D. Insurance requirements
A.
Use of formulas. How to evaluate each patient’s individual Dermagraphic
needs for optimal saturation of pigment.
B. Pain preparation. Educating the physician: -as to which topicals
are prescribed by experienced Ophthalmologists -why injections are
both inappropriate and unnecessary
C. Patient comfort. Evaluating the patients’: -psychological attitude
regarding the procedure -physical acceptability to the prescribed
pigment -discovering any pre-existing conditions (medications, allergies,
skin problems, medical history, etc .) to promote the effectiveness
of the procedure and prevent obstacles not allowing for optimal saturation.
